The State Hotel - New Plymouth

The place is quirky, the staff are affable and incredibly welcoming.

Everything is fairly clean and very good. Its rooms are newly renovated and good-sized for even the smallest desk space. Great to have a lounge area and a kettle. This hotel has marvellous location in a lovely area, we where minutes from a gallery and a cinema. In fact, its approx 10-15 minutes' walk from a botanic garden, one of the tourist spots. Offers excellant service and EXCELLENT food. Use the parking close to the venue.

Booked a room with exceptionally good views of the mountain. Its location around 10-15 minutes walk from Tsb Showplace was marvellous.

Enjoyed this luxury accommodation with excellent friendly staff on the manager being available. The hotel was in a very central setting very close to everything. We found nice Art Cafe nearby with hot beverages.

This place is a fantastic base for exploring the area, featuring helpful staff, a great location, impeccably clean facilities, and a convenient on-site restaurant.

The room here is freshly decorated with a perfect little touch, including cable TV and great decor that meets all needs.

The rooms here have been recently renovated and come with air conditioning, plus a modern and chic bathroom. There's a nice variety of delicious breakfast options available. 🌟

The deluxe queen room had nice decor and was in "new" condition. the hotel is conveniently located near restaurants and cafes. - the service was amazing and left me totally satisfied.

This place was perfectly located right in the heart of the city. There are so many excellent restaurants around here that I had a hard time choosing where to go each night. Not only that, but I was really impressed with the quality of the service here. The staff were always available for dry cleaning, laundry, and shuttle service when I needed it. Plus, the room amenities were top-notch; I had everything I could have wanted, from ironing facilities to free toiletries and a flat-screen TV.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel's location was awesome, just a short walk away from an AMAZING museum. Plus, there were plenty of tasty restaurants and cute cafes nearby to grab a bite to eat 🍽️.

Perfect location close to an amazing beach in a great area, and it's also convenient to reach a fantastic museum.
